Like many others in my generation, I grew up surrounded by digital media of all variations—From videogames to anime, to film, and more. Along with being a Chinese American adoptee, these different multi-cultural experiences and environments have allowed me to observe the world in a way that informs my creativity. This sense of "in-betweenness," both in my identity and the way in which technology and art can intersect fuel my curiosity and art-making.

I'm particularly driven to design projects that are created for more than just "efficiency" and "instant gratification." Inspired by my oldest introduction into using media for human good, Ghibli films taught me the unique position digital media alone possess to capture, touch, and provoke our innate humanness.

I wish to continue exploring how sound, color, shape, movement, and digital media can be harnessed to inspired human goodness and what it means to truly embrace the fluidity of digital expression.
